Our 1st "Fadda's Day Chili Cook Off" is scheduled for June 15, 2013,
Saturday, from 9:00am to 2:00 pm at Cooper Center. Here's what it is: A
chili cook off contest, we will have 14 stations set up for you to use.
Entrance fees will be $50.00 for each team. These will include a large
table, burner ring, and propane tank. You bring every thing you need to
cook with and product to cook. All cooking must be completed on
premises and by 11:30. Judging to follow, with cash prizes for 1st, 2nd
& 3rd place winners. We will have door prizes all morning long for
participants and guests. We will be running a silent auction and
raffles all morning also. We plan on having kids games, maybe a rodeo,
pony rides, a petting zoo, and lots of kids things to do...it is
Fadda's day after all. When judging is done we will sell off your cups
of chili to the public, with rice of course, and the public gets to try
as many or few chilies as they like. This is a fund raiser for Volcano
